What’s in a Chocolate Power Muscle Monkey Smoothie Bowl?

This smoothie bowl starts with a thick, creamy base of bananas that are loaded with nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants. To make it even creamier, we add peanut butter which supplies all three macronutrients – carbs, protein, and healthy fat. To make it even more muscle-y we add a scoop of vegan chocolate protein powder because chocolate, peanut butter, and banana is quite possibly the perfect flavor combination that ever existed! Don’t you agree?

    • Frozen banana
    • Peanut butter
    • Chocolate vegan protein powder
    • Almond milk, or any other non-dairy milk
    • Hemp hearts (optional)
    • Maca powder (optional)

    • Cacao nibs – basically super dark chocolate without all the sugar
    • Dairy-free chocolate chips
    • Chocolate dipped strawberries – kind of fancy but how good would this be?!?
    • Peanuts or any other nuts like slivered almonds or cashews
    • Extra seeds like hemp hearts or chia for more fiber
    • Granola for extra crunch
    • Pomegranate seeds for a little Vitamin C & K
    • Shredded coconut
